Drafter—Electrical

Presently we are seeking a full time electrical drafter to develop electrical plan drawings and schematics for a diverse range of municipal (water/wastewater), industrial, and commercial projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing electrical drawings using ACAD R2004 and R2006, as well as working with background drawings provided by other disciplines. All resumes received will be held in confidence.

Position Description:

Electrical Drafter.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree (A.S.) in drafting.

Role:

Develop project drawings and schematics using AutoCAD.
Self-manage project cost controls and schedule.

Responsibilities:

Develop electrical plan sets using previous and latest versions of AutoCAD including, but not limited to:

Electrical site plans
Electrical plan drawings (general arrangements)
Lighting plan drawings
Specialty system(s) plan drawings
Grounding plan drawings
Electrical demolition/removal drawings
Electrical one-line diagrams
Equipment elevation and detail drawings
Control schematics and wiring diagrams
PLC/DCS input/output diagrams
Process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
Schedules and Bill of Materials
Provide QC/QA review of own work and subordinate work.
Plot, reproduce and file drawings generated internally or externally.
Adhere to internal and external project drafting standards.
